Being an arborist could be a risky job. Out of all reported tree work accidents, approximately 16 percent of the accidents involve falling from heights, reports the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). To help reduce that number, Husqvarna has sponsored the first arborist height training center in the UK.

To simulate real arborist working conditions, the training center outside Ipswich now hosts The Husqvarna Tree – a metal tree that measures 6.3 meters where you can mount tree branches of different sizes and shapes.

-          Safety and ergonomics is always a priority for Husqvarna. Therefore, we are proud to sponsor the Husqvarna Tree at the training center, working towards reducing height related injuries for arborists, says Daniel Noble, at Husqvarna UK.

The height training center is owned and managed by BTS (Broadleaf Tree Specialists) and is located near Ipswich. The training center also facilitates academic training and a wide range of different chainsaw related courses.
